Carson City Parks and Recreation is rolling out youth programs for the upcoming school year, and families are invited to learn more about them at a meet and greet from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19.
The programs, offered both before and after school, are for students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
The meet and greet in the gym of the Carson City Community Center will offer the chance to meet the staff who will be caring for their children throughout the year. The event is open to families already enrolled in programs with Parks and Recreation, in addition to families who may be seeking before and after school care as well as school year breaks.
