Nancy (Beythan) Sweetland

Nov. 19, 1938 - August 18, 2016

Nancy came to Carson City with her mother, Jessie Kay Lewis in 1953. She married her high school sweetheart John Harris Sweetland who preceded her in 1989.

She was property manager of Sweetland Apartments for 26 years. Later, she volunteered at the Nevada State Museum for 10 years in the History Deparment, which she truly enjoyed. She also enjoyed hunting, fishing, drawing, painting and reading.

Nancy is survived by her children, Darren, Valerie and Justin (Jenny) and her 5 grandchildren.

Funeral to be held Thursday, August 25 at 10:30 am at Walton’s Chapel of the Valley, 1281 N. Roop St., Carson City. Reception to follow at Grandma Hattie’s Restaurant, Carson City
