1954 ~ 2016

Jeffrey “Jeff” Dale Hendrick, 61, passed away in July 2016.

Jeff was born in Hamilton, Montana in December of 1954, but lived most of his life in Nevada, spending his younger years in Beatty and his adult life in Fallon. After graduating from Churchill County High School in 1973, Jeff attended electronics school in Oregon and then spent a few years in the Silicon Valley working in the tech industry.

He returned to Fallon in 1978 to raise his family and help run the family business, Hendrick Upholstery, which he eventually solely owned and where he worked for the rest of his career.

Jeff had a sharp mind, an adventurous spirit, and a special passion for flying. As a young man, when Jeff wasn’t tinkering with computers, riding his motorcycle, skiing on Lake Lahontan, or scuba diving in a tropical paradise, he was out piloting his small aircraft or flying model airplanes.

Jeff may have passed on from this earth, but his spirit will live on through his surviving family: Parents, Dale and Carol (Kerr) Hendrick; brother-in-law and sister Thayne and Laurel (Hendrick) Hammond; daughters Emily (Hendrick) McAuliffe and Molly (Hendrick) Nellman; granddaughter Chloe Nellman; Cousin and brother in spirit Ron Wilson; Nephews and Nieces Nicholas and Vanessa (Zimney) Hammond, Victor and Jentry (Hammond) Ansotegui, and Trevor and Amanda

(Brown) Hammond.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Churchill County Search & Rescue (1516 Rio Vista, Fallon, NV 89406) and Fallon/Churchill Volunteer Fire Department (20 N. Carson St., Fallon, NV 89406)
