We disappointed many of you on Sunday, but most of all we disappointed ourselves and our 151 years of community pride.
In the process of building Sunday’s newspaper, an unfortunate error appeared in the copy of the Nevada Appeal’s Past Pages column.
It happened and we are deeply sorry. We apologize to our readers and the author of the column.
We are reviewing the process we currently use for production of our newspaper to explore ways to improve and ensure the carelessness shown Sunday won’t happen again.
