A Toys for Tots toy distribution is Dec. 20-22 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. each day at the Oats Park Gym, thus giving families in need the ability to enjoy toy donations for their children as well as seeing Santa and elves and partaking with the activities and refreshments.

New, unwrapped toys are still needed — the earlier the better for gift wrapping — and can be dropped off at Safeway every Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and at Walmart every Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. to be loaded on the Toys for Tots truck.

Volunteers are needed for shopping, gift wrapping, stocking stuffing, setup and festivities on any of the three days. Contact the local Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots chapter at 775-294-9335 or visit www.Fallon-NV.ToysforTots.org.

There will be a supervised children’s activity center including Santa, Legos, coloring, cookies and hot chocolate.

The Toys for Tots is still accepting toys for children in the Fallon-Fernley-Silver Springs area.
