Elvis is in the building this holiday season.

The King of Rock and Roll and more than 20 local singers and dancers are starring in the Showstoppers’ annual Elvis Holiday Spectacular on Saturday, Dec. 17 at the Carson City Community Center.

The annual performance is a non-stop evening of song, dance, holiday cheer and raffle prizes, featuring the talents of Matt Wilkerson as Elvis and YTCC’s Award-Winning ‘Showstoppers’ Show Choir.

The Showstoppers are a handpicked group of performers from Youth Theatre Carson City.

Made up of 20 local singers, dancers and actors ages 9-15, the Showstoppers tour around the area and beyond bringing their love of the arts to their community.

Youth Theatre Carson City is a youth theatre program that provides a safe, inclusive environment for local youth grades K-12 and their families to learn and grow through quality theatrical experiences. It operates in association with the Carson City Department of Recreation and the Bob Boldrick Theater.

Tickets are $12 for general admission and $10 for students and seniors.

Proceeds from the holiday performance will go toward helping the program provide quality educational and performance opportunities to young people and allow it to further its mission of providing an environment for local youth to create, explore, learn and grow through quality theatrical experiences and family programming.

The show starts at 7 p.m. inside the Bob Boldrick Theater at the Community Center, 851 E. William St.
