Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Dr.:

MONDAY: Herb baked chicken, bread stuffing, pan gravy, peas and onions, garden salad, assorted dressing and mixed berry cups.

TUESDAY: Italian beef bake, peas and carrots, spinach salad, strawberry vanilla yogurt and cranberry juice.

WEDNESDAY: Cheddar broccoli soup, French bread, crispy chicken, salad and pears.

THURSDAY: Papa John’s pizza, house salad and blueberry yogurt parfait.

FRIDAY: Christmas dinner: ribs, broccoli with cheese sauce, baked beans, pineapple, apple pie and ice cream.


Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

MONDAY: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, steamed spinach, lettuce and tomato salad, French dressing, whole wheat bread, peach butter and fruit cups.

TUESDAY: Chicken and dumplings, green peas, carrot and raisin salad, whole wheat low-sodium crackers, fruit cocktail and milk.

WEDNESDAY: Breaded fish squares on whole wheat hamburger buns, tartar sauce, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots, tater tots and pears.

THURSDAY: Baked ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, whole wheat rolls, margarine, bananas and cookies.

FRIDAY: Spud stuffer, ground beef, cheese, sour cream, margarine, carrots, peaches, grape juice and apple crisp.


Douglas County Senior Center, 1329 Waterloo Lane:

MONDAY: Black bean soup, chicken salad sandwiches, cucumbers in sour cream and tropical fruit cups.

TUESDAY: Taco salad with ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese, Mexican style beans, salsa and sour cream, Spanish rice and vanilla custard.

WEDNESDAY: Crispy orange chicken wraps with Asian sesame slaw, harvest rice, stir fry vegetables and tapioca pudding.

THURSDAY: Baked Cajun cod, cream style corn, parsley butter potatoes, fresh spinach, apple spice cake and grain bread.

FRIDAY: Christmas dinner: baked ham, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli casserole, Waldorf salad, rolls and red velvet cake.


Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave.:

MONDAY: Onion soup, chicken salad sandwiches, carrot and celery sticks and pink grapefruit.

TUESDAY: Breaded fish squares, tartar sauce, rice pilaf, coleslaw, whole wheat bread, pears and cookies.

WEDNESDAY: Italian turkey burgers, baked steak fries, peas and carrots and honeydew.

THURSDAY: Christmas dinner: ham and all the fixings.

FRIDAY BREAKFAST 9:30: Sausage and eggs, hash browns, peaches, muffins, margarine and orange juice.


Storey County Senior Citizens Center, corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

MONDAY: Bacon corn potato chowder, biscuits and fruit.

TUESDAY: Hungarian goulash, noodles, carrots, salad with lettuce and tomatoes, bread and ambrosia.

WEDNESDAY: Beef enchiladas, Spanish rice, refried beans and fruit cocktail.

THURSDAY: Traditional Christmas dinner.

FRIDAY BREAKFAST 10-11: Chicken pot pie, soup, biscuits and fruit.


Yerington Senior Center, 117 Tilson Way:

MONDAY: Turkey chili, corn bread, salad and ambrosia.

TUESDAY: Roma burgers, lettuce, corn on the cob, baked beans and melon.

WEDNESDAY: Deviled pork chops, baked potatoes, steamed brussels sprouts, salad and tapioca pudding.

THURSDAY: Chicken tetrazzini, mixed vegetables, broccoli salad, whole wheat dinner rolls and cherry and apricot granola cups.

FRIDAY DINNER 5 p.m.: Tacos, ranch style beans, corn and rice pudding.
