Four women, six men and five others of either gender are needed to fill roles in play Jim Crawford’s “Arson and Murder at the Odeon Hall or Dewey Do Time?”

The play follows a family dispute that resulted in a shooting in 1890. The dispute continued to present-day, when Dewey Cheatum, great-grandson of Willie Cheatum, is part owner of a casino that is losing money thanks to the success of Ben Pharteen, great-grandson of the person shot in 1890. Ben is kidnapped and his demise is plotted by Little Red Heine. The Ghost and Zombie help capture Little Red Heine and wait for the sheriff.

Auditions are planned at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13 at Dayton Valley Branch Library, 321 Dayton Valley Road, Dayton. Performances are on April 22, 23, 24, 29 and 30. For more information, call Jim at 775-246-7824.
