Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Officers busy during Valentine’s Day, Presidents Day weekends

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

FRIDAY

At 6:37 a.m., a 48-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of failure to appear warrants after deputies responded to reports of suspicious subjects near the 1100 block of Fairview Drive. Bail was set at $780.

At 9:39 a.m., a 48-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery after deputies conducted a warrant search near the 400 block of Willow Street. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 12:50 p.m., a 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of a failure to appear warrant after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted subject near the 400 block of Saliman Road. Bail was set at $855.

At 3:47 p.m., a 48-year-old Oakland, Calif., man was arrested on suspicion of soliciting without a permit after deputies observed a man selling oranges on the corner of Saliman Road and Robinson Street. Bail was set at $500.

At 5:18 p.m., a 35-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of a failure to obey warrant after deputies responded to reports of suspicious subjects near Fleischmann and Carson streets. Bail was set at $1,070.

At 6:31 p.m., a 36-year-old Carnilian Bay, Calif., man was arrested on suspicion of a failure to appear warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1600 block of William Street. Bail was set at $578.

At 10:14 p.m., Megan Germain, 34, of Carson City, was arrested on suspicion of felony probation violation after deputies initiated a consensual stop near the 100 block of Long Street. No bail was set.

SATURDAY

At 12:53 a.m., a 20-year-old Sparks man was arrested on suspicion of minor consuming alcohol, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, possession of marijuana less than one ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies observed a suspicious vehicle near Fairview and Lepire drives. At the same incident, a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of possession/consumption of alcohol in public and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Bail for the 20-year-old was set at $2,250 and bail for the 22-year-old was set at $650.

At 2:17 p.m., Laura Bost, 34, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony sale of a controlled substance, felony possession of a controlled substance for sale, felony possession of a controlled substance, felony conspiracy to violate the uniform crime act and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Arrowhead Drive and Goni Road. At the same incident, Jacob Jarrard, 27, of Carson City was also arrested on suspicion felony possession of a controlled substance for sale. Bail for Bost was set at $53,500 and bail for Jarrard was set at $50,000.

At 3:15 p.m., a 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court and obstructing after deputies attempted to initiate a knock and talk near the 2200 block of Long Street. Bail was set at $992.

At 5:25 p.m., a 59-year-old South Lake Tahoe man was arrested on suspicion of fictitious registration, license suspended/revoked, obstructing and failure to obey a traffic control device warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Lompa Lane and Dori. Bail was set at $1,402.

At 8:35 p.m., Jesus Gonzales-Hernandez, 18, of Gardnerville was arrested on suspicion of felony false identification to avoid persecution, speed- 1 to 10 over, and no valid driver’s license after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Carson and Long streets. Bail was set at $5,145.

At 10:50 p.m., Lillian Allen, 58, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony indecent exposure, disorderly conduct and violation of bail conditions after deputies responded to the Carson Street Best Value Motel for reports of a woman walking around naked. Bail was set at $8,150.

SUNDAY

At 12:43 a.m., a 20-year-old Reno man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Silver Sage Drive and Raven Circle. Bail was set at $1,128.

At 3:26 p.m., a 56-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of violation of pretrial conditions after deputies responded to reports of a mental subject call at the Carson Street Adele’s. Bail was set at $6,000.

At 4:07 p.m., a 30-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of violation of bail conditions after deputies responded to reports of a dispute near the 1400 block of William Street. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 4:23 p.m., a 52-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a woman taking items from the William Street Smith’s. Bail was set at $250.

At 6:09 p.m., a 39-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of battery on a peace officer after deputies responded to a mental subject call near Saliman Road and Colorado Street. The woman was trying to run from staff at an assisted living facility and was running in the street. When deputies attempted to detain her, she punched one in the face. Bail was set at $2,500.

At 8:24 p.m., a 29-year-old Sparks woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense, no proof of insurance and basic speed- 21-plus after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Carson Street and Nye Lane. Bail was set at $1,680.

MONDAY

At 9 a.m., a 55-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of probation violation warrants after an off-duty officer saw a subject with a warrant near Washington and Valley streets. Bail was set at $6,000.

At 11:09 p.m., a 36-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of probation violation near the 800 block of Musser Street. Bail was set at $3,000.

TUESDAY

At 12:38 a.m., a 21-year-old Fallon man was arrested on suspicion of battery after deputies responded to reports of two men arguing near the 400 block of Saliman Road. Bail was set at $1,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
