Lyon County Republican Central Committee to meet March 5 in Yerington

Anyone who wants to learn more about grass roots politics and meet with Republican officials can attend Lyon County Republican Central Committee’s next meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 5 at the County Office Building, 27 S. Main Street, Yerington.

The Lyon County Republican Convention is Saturday, March 12 at the Yerington Intermediate School Gym, 114 Pearl Street, Yerington. Doors open at 9 a.m. All persons elected as delegates and alternates are asked to attend; guests are also welcome. The cost is $15 and includes a box lunch. Lyon County Republican Central Committee bylaws will be ratified, the platform finalized and members of the central committee for the next two years will be elected. We will also be electing delegates and alternates to the Nevada State Convention. The county convention keynote speaker will be Assemblywoman Robin Titus.
