Tahoe/Douglas Elks hosting annual crab feed Feb. 12 at CVIC Hall in Minden

Due to water damage at Elks Lodge in Gardnerville, Tahoe/Douglas Elks Lodge No. 2670 has changed the location of its annual crab feed planned next month.

The event, originally planned on Feb. 13 at the lodge, will be on Friday, Feb. 12 at CVIC Hall, 1602 Esmeralda Ave. in Minden.

Cocktails and a social hour start at 5 p.m. and dinner follows an hour later. The cost is $40 per person, a fee that must be paid in advance. Tickets, which include Dungeness crab, clam chowder, prawn shrimp, salad and garlic bread, will not be sold at the door. Reservations and payment must be made by Feb. 6. The Elks Citizen of the Year event planned later this month has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 26 at the lodge. Social hour starts at 5 p.m. with dinner and a presentation following at 6 p.m. For more information and to sign up, call Rich or Mary Retterer at 775-392-2249.
