Anyone who wants to learn how to teach basic English to adults on a one-to-one basis is welcome to attend a free tutor training workshop from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at United Latino Community, 1711 N. Roop St.
Instructional materials and training are provided. Neither experience nor foreign language skills are necessary, cut a commitment of 1 1/2 to 2 hours per week is expected.
