As of Friday, Jan. 15 more than 11.45 million individuals had signed up for healthcare on the Federal Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) in the 38 states that use the national exchange.

With only two weeks left to sign up for health insurance for 2016, the projected final figure is 14.7 million for the FFM. Other states, like California, have their own exchanges. Another 3 million is expected to sign up in those states.

Nevada has seen the number of citizens signed up increase from 73,596 going into the 2016 signup period to 88,000, as of Friday.

That is an increase of 120 percent for Nevada over 2015.

Those who have yet to sign up only have until Sunday, Jan. 31 to do so.
