Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of grand larceny, contempt of court

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At 12:10 p.m., a 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 100 block of Liberty Court.

At 10:29 p.m., Tyler Jost, 26, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony grand larceny and contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of a stolen firearm near the 700 block of Pat Lane. Deputies located Jost near the 100 block of Mountain Street. Bail was set at $25,500.

At 10:50 p.m., a 24-year-old Gardnerville man was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated pedestrian and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to reports of a suspicious subject near the 3100 block of Shriver Drive. Bail was set at $1,025.

WEDNESDAY

At 2:15 a.m., a 57-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, violation of bail conditions and driving without lights after deputies initiated a traffic stop at the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $4,025.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
