Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Woman arrested on suspicion of child abuse

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

At 1:35 p.m., Stacey Hackle, 47, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony child abuse or neglect causing physical harm after deputies responded to reports of child abuse near the 1100 block of Tamarisk Street. Hackle allegedly provided the victim with methamphetamine and marijuana. Bail was set at $40,000.

At 6 p.m., a 22-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery and a Douglas County warrant after deputies responded to multiple reports of a man punching a woman in the face at the Carson Street Kohl’s. Bail was set at $6,000.

At 8:20 p.m., a 37-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of a failure to appear warrant after deputies responded to reports of a credit card theft near the 3400 block of Northgate Lane.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
