The Nevada Artists Association is inviting local and regional artists to enter the “Spirit of America” art show.

The judged exhibition does not have a them and it is open to all artists; membership in the NAA is not required. Ribbons and monetary awards will be given to first place winners in seven media categories: oil, acrylic, water media, dry media, photography, digital and three dimensional art. Second, third and honorable mentions will receive ribbons only.

All art must be properly framed and wired for hanging. The maximum size is 48 inches. Photographs are limited to two entries; a third piece may be entered in another media. Entries are limited to three pieces for each artist.

Entries can be made from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 25. Entry fees are $20 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry for nonmembers; and $10 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry for members.

Show regulations and entry forms can be printed at www.nevadartists.org, or they can be picked up at the gallery at the Brewery Arts Center, 449 W. King St.

The display opens June 27 and runs through July 29. It can be seen from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. Admission is free, and all art is for sale.
