Jimmie and Janet Thompson’s BYO BBQ on Saturday, July 9 will collect donations for the families affected by the Lampe Drive apartment complex fire that took place June 14 in Gardnerville.
The meet ‘n’ greet cruise event from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at James Lee Memorial Park will feature a variety of cars, trucks and bikes.
Monetary donations as well as clothes, nonperishable food, personal hygiene products and other items will be collected. There also will be a raffle to benefit the families in need.
