Mike Thomas to talk about ‘mysterious stuff’ Friday at Carson City Plaza Hotel & Event Center

Mike Thomas will talk about places, things and event that have baffled mankind in Mysterious Stuff, a lecture at 7 p.m. Friday at the Carson City Plaza Hotel and Event Center, 801 S. Carson St.

Lectures are held on the second Friday of the month, usually in the hotel’s Sierra Room. Otherwise, lectures are at Mallards Restaurant at Empire Ranch Golf Course. The $5 admission includes a no host bar and appetizers. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
