Nevada Humane Society in Carson City & Reno holding Easter adoption event through March 27

Nevada Humane Society’s Egg-stravaganza pet adoption event is offering special adoption fees for cats, dogs and other homeless pets through March 27.

Fees include — $50 for adult dogs, excluding specially priced dogs and puppies; $25 for adults cats under the age of 3 and $60 for kittens. Cats over the age of 3 are free. Several small animals, including rabbits, hamsters, rats and chinchillas, also are available.

All dogs and cats are spayed and neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before being adopted. Rabbits are also spayed or neutered, services that would normally cost more than $250.

Nevada Humane Society, at 3770 Butti Way in Carson City and 2825 Longley Lane in Reno, is open for adoptions seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and an hour earlier at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
