Silver City School House site of jam session May 28

Silver City Arts is hosting an acoustic jam session 3-5 p.m. Saturday, May 28 at the Silver City School House, 385 High St., Silver City.

Acoustic jam sessions are offered on the fourth Saturday of the month. Anyone who likes to sing or play an instrument and those who like to just enjoy the music are welcome to attend.

Silver City Arts also is hosting a reading by Shaun Griffin at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 4 at the same location. The author, who is the director of Community Chest Inc., will read from his new memoir, “Anthem for a Burnished Land.”
