Dennis Bell(Denny) passed away at his home on his 72nd birthday. He was born in Shrewsbury, Kentucky to Dilley(Red) Bell and Dorothy Bell. Denny moved to Carson City in 1958. He attended Carson High School where he excelled in sports, especially football. His team mates nicknamed him “The Truck” for his vicious hits and his outright ability to move the ball down the field. Denny graduated in 1962. Denny, no doubt, had a passion for the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Denny fished lake Tahoe on a regular basis and hunted Nevada’s big game most of his life. Denny also was a talented sheet metal worker and spent some of his time building the Alaskan oil pipe line in the 70’s. Denny was preceded in death by his mother, father and youngest brother. Denny is survived by two sons, Kelly(Shannon) and Jeff(Nicole); daughter Angela; three grand daughters, Mackena, Kellcy and Ruby; and grandson Luke. Denny also has a brother Ron Bell of Vancouver, WA. There will be a celebration of life for Denny, Saturday April 30th at 1pm, at the Timbers Saloon in Carson City. Arrangements are in the care of Capitol City Cremations.
