Linda O. Grissom-Whiteside “Momma” was born in Sweetwater, Texas on September the 5th of 1953 and left this world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April the 24th of 2016 in her home. She was a great, wonderful, and loving mother, grandmother, and just a beautiful lady all-around who love the Lord. Linda did many things in this life from being a law enforcement officer to a paramedic and EMT for many many years. She was also a mortgage broker in car salesman, almost simultaneously, but she was very very good at finances in general in that sense. She has been deeply involved with our local ducks Unlimited committee since we began in 2013 as our secretary treasurer. She always had to keep yourself busy doing something; she just couldn’t sit at home with nothing to do. She was always involved so deeply and her children’s lives, always trying to help out somewhere with something. There is so much to see, but too much to write here. She will be deeply and incredibly missed, but we rejoice for the fact of knowing where she is and what she is doing now; walking and holding hands with Jesus. For those of you who knew her, and would like to attend her services to pay your final respects, she and we would greatly appreciate seeing you there. The services will be held at Parkside Bible Fellowship in Fallon, Nevada at 485 Tedford Ln. on Tuesday May the 10th, with doors opening for viewing starting at 10:00 a.m. with services to follow at 11AM. There will be a time for meet and greet and fellowship to follow. Donations are being excepted, as momma will be being transported down home to be buried in our family plot in Roscoe, Texas; so if anyone would be gracious and willing to contribute, it would be greatly appreciated. This can be done at Financial Horizons credit union in Fallon to account number 52610004 in the care of Matt Grissom. Thank you all so much, God bless you, and we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday.
