Man arrested on possession of forged $100 bill, according to the Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At 3:11 p.m., a 36-year-old Las Vegas man was booked on a fugitive warrant issued by a circuit judge in Washington County Oregon. He was held without bail.

At 3:59 p.m., a 29-year-old Carson man was booked on a charge of violating alternative sentencing conditions in a Douglas County case. He was ordered in lieu of $3,000 bail.

At 4:32 p.m., a 53-year-old Dayton woman was arrested on charges of being drunk in public and disorderly conduct. When the deputy arrived, she was slumped on the curb of Roop Street. When the deputy called her a cab, she cursed at the cabbie and at paramedics who were called to the scene. She was jailed in lieu of $175 bail on the two misdemeanor counts.

At 6:56 p.m., Shawn Brunson, 26, was charged with violating pre-trial release conditions and possession of a forged $100 bill after deputies responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the 3000 block of Highway 50 east. The violation was for allegedly using methamphetamine. He was held in lieu of a total of $13,000 bail.

At 7:53 p.m., a 37-year-old Gardnerville man was charged with DUI-first after a traffic stop at Carmine and Airport Road. He also was charged with no valid driver’s license and held in lieu of $1,100 bail.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
