Two arrested on suspicion of burglary, says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

At 8:50 p.m., a 22-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of two counts of pre-trial supervision after deputies conducted a business check at the S. Carson Street Dotty’s Casino. Bail was set at $6,000.

At 9:12 a.m., a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear traffic after deputies initiated a consensual stop near the 3300 block of Arrowhead Drive. Bail was set at $175.

At 11:07 a.m., Miguel Ssoto, 34, of Reno was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary and possession of burglary tools after deputies responded to reports of men taking items from the Carson Street Kohl’s. At the same incident, a 27-year-old Sparks man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and Joseph Aleman, 34, of Reno was arrested on felony burglary, possession of burglary tools and failed to comply with a court order. Bail for Ssoto was set at $20,000, bail for the 27-year-old was set at $1,000 and bail for Aleman was set at $21,000.

At 6:27 p.m., a 34-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies initiated a consensual stop near the 200 block of David Street. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 6:44 p.m., a 25-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a woman taking items from the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $250.

THURSDAY

At 12:04 a.m., a 24-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of violation of probation after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated subject near Lompa Lane and Highway 50. Bail was set at $3,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
