Melva was born in Winnemucca on September 16, 1943, she passed away in Reno on November 14, 2016.
Melva and her husband Charley owned and operated the Pierson’s Grinding Inc. from 1973 to 2008.
She enjoyed going for walks and spending time with her husband Charley. On November 24, 1966 they were wed, this year will be Melva and Charley’s 50th wedding anniversary.
She is the beloved wife of Charley Pierson, loving mother of Michelle Marier, and step-son Chuck (Donna), step-son Frederick, step-daughter Carrie, dear sister to Melvin (Sue) and Michael Swain, dearest grandmother and great grandmother of many.
Friends are invited to attend graveside services at 12:30p.m. on Friday November 18, 2016 at the Walton’s Carson Garden’s Cemetery. Viewing will be between 10:00a.m. and Noon in the Walton’s Chapel of the Valley 1281 N. Roop St., Carson City, NV.
