The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information in an armed robbery that occurred Tuesday morning.
Deputies responded to the Pilot Travel Center in Fernley around 3 a.m. for reports of an armed robbery.
The suspect allegedly brandished a firearm.
The masked suspect is described as 5 foot 10 to 5 foot 11, weighing 160 to 180 pounds.
He’s described as having dark colored eyes and no race could be determined.
The suspect was wearing dark dress slacks, a dark colored coat that came down to mid-thigh — similar to a pea coat- insulated winter gloves, a multi-colored knit stocking cap, light brown or grey with white soled canvas-style shoes — similar to Vans — and a rubber mask with a white beard.
