The Churchill County School District Board of Trustees will meet Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Old High School auditorium.
Update, discussion and possible action items include the following:
Keith Boone, principal of E.C. Best Elementary School, will present their math collaboration and cross-fit class.
Educational Services’ Patty Fleming will report on the new teacher evaluation system including student-learning goals.
Brian Byrd, director of Maintenance, will give an update about scheduled winter projects.
Business Services will present several reports including the budget and board budget, quarterly workers’ compensation and quarterly student funds as well as an audit update.
The latest student enrollment data will be provided in a written report as well as the Violent Acts Report.
Lisa Bliss, data and assessment coordinator, will discuss the 2015-2016 Smarter Balanced and Northwest Evaluation Association map results.
New business for discussion and possible action include processes to train staff on policies and the process and evaluation tool for evaluation of Dr. Sandra Sheldon, superintendent of schools.
