Hear from state and federal candidates, learn about local and state ballot issues and mingle with elected officials at an annual Fall Candidates Picnic from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 in Mills Park.
The event is put on by the Carson City Democratic Women’s Club and the Carson City Democratic Central Committee. Accessible from Saliman Road, it will be in Pavilion “B” and “C” on the east end of the park.
Enjoy sandwiches, chili, salads, desserts and drinks. A no host bar will be available. The cost is $18 in advance, $20 at the door, $5 for children 5-10 years old and free for children under 5.
