Come meet local author and comedienne, Kat Simmons, and her daughter, Emma Stamper, at their book signing from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3 at Morley’s Books, 201 W. King St.
You may have seen Kat perform in the Carson Valley in the last 25 years, and now she has added author to her resume. She released her first book, “Kat’s Daily Cups,” in June. It is a collection of stories about children, animals, inspiration and awakenings.
She submitted her daughter’s artwork to her editor and Stamper was immediately hired for all the illustrations and cover art.
