Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to sell

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

MONDAY

At 8:54 a.m., a 68-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 400 block of Winnie Lane. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 9:02 a.m., Michael Swerdling, 28, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and trespassing after deputies responded to reports of a peeping tom near the 1600 block of Myles Street. Bail was set at $2,500.

TUESDAY

At 3:29 a.m., Russell Alfano, 18, of Dayton was arrested on suspicion of felony possession with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies conducted a consensual stop near the 1400 block of Saliman Road. Bail was set at $6,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
