Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Three arrested on suspicion of burglary

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

THURSDAY

At 12:37 a.m., Ernest Saragosa, 35, of Reno was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary, felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of burglary tools and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to reports of an activated alarm at the Nye Lane Sierra Car Wash. At the same incident, Austin Rodgers, 26, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary, felony providing false identification to avoid persecution, obstructing an officer and possession of burglary tools. Marissa Langfeldt, 22, of Jamestown, Calif., was arrested on suspicion of felony principal to burglary. Bail for Saragosa was set at $31,000, bail for Rodgers was set at $37,800 and bail for Langfeldt was set at $25,000.

At 11:19 a.m., a 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 5:04 p.m., a 44-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of traffic warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a consensual stop near the 1800 block of Nichols. Bail was set at $1,814.

At 5:24 p.m., a 61-year-old Carson City man and a 31-year-old Carson City woman were arrested on suspicion of contempt of court warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 500 block of William Street. Bail was set at $500 for each.

At 10:44 p.m., Christopher Gamwell, 31, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession with intent to sell and lighted lamps required after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 500 block of N. Carson Street. At the same incident, David Pearce, 26, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession with intent to sell. Bail for Gamwell was set at $50,025 and bail for Pearce was set at $5,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
