Two fundraiser are planned to benefit Special Olympics Nevada athletes.
Free hot dogs and drinks will be offered at a car wash fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2 in the parking lot of 7-Eleven, 3838 Highway 50 E. The event benefits Special Olympics Nevada in addition to the Employee Committee at Warm Springs Correctional Center. Car washes cost $10 each.
Bowl for the Gold from 5 to 9 p.m. Nov. 11 offers an evening of bowling at National Bowling Stadium, 300 N. Center St., Reno. Register teams online at www.bowlforthegoldreno.com.
