Timber: The mines of Gold Hill make use of about 600,000 feet of timber per month, for under ground timbering. The idea that 7,200,000 feet of timber are used in the mines of Gold Hill every year looks hardly credible, but it is a fact that can be proven. (Gold Hill News)

Nevada veteran organization leaders testified Wednesday that they have settled regional differences and will support a veterans cemetery at any site chosen by the Legislature. The resolution ends conflict between the northern pick of Fernley cemetery in Lyon County and Las Vegas supporters.
