Woman arrested on DUI, says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

THURSDAY

At 1:45 p.m., a 55-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a woman taking her roommate’s money near the 1100 block of Sonoma Street. Bail was set at $250.

At 3:01 p.m., a 44-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies initiated a traffic stop near William Street and Oxoby Loop. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 6:43 p.m., a 32-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court and failure to appear after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Sharon and Douglas Drive. Bail was set at $1,001.

FRIDAY

At 1:42 a.m., a 25-year-old Minden man was arrested on suspicion of violation of alternative sentencing conditions after deputies responded to reports of a possible domestic dispute near the 300 block of North Carson Street. Bail was set at $1,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
