Marsha Bangert

Marsha passed away at the age of 68 on August 19, 2017 at her home in Reno, NV with her family by her side.

Marsha was born September 7, 1948 in Glidden, IA., to Wilbur & Lenore Butrick. She spent her early years in CA.

She was a Gardnerville resident for the past 25 years. She was always happy, joyful, carefree, and playful in her daily life.

One of her biggest joys was spending time with her family. She enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, bowling, and gardening. She touched the souls of many and will be cherished in our memories.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents.

Marsha is survived by her children, Jodi Padgett of Reno, NV., Trina Peckenham (Morgan) of Reno, NV; grandchildren, Megan Lesser (Scotty) of Kyle, TX., Tyler Kowalski of Carson City, NV., Tanner Kowatch (Hannah) of Sumter, S.C., Torrie Kowatch of Reno, NV., Nolan Padgett of Reno, NV.; brother, Gary Butrick of Minden, NV.

A celebration of Marsha’s life will be at 10:30am, Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Walton’s Funeral Home 1521 Church Street, Gardnerville, NV., with a reception to immediately follow the celebration of life.

Final inurnment will be at Merle Hay Cemetery in Glidden, IA.
