Santa will be on hand at a Christmas party for children ages 0-12 from noon to 2 p.m. Dec. 16 at the Carson City Elks Lodge.
The event, sponsored by Elks Lodge No. 2177 and the Carson City Emblem Club No. 507, includes coloring events, Christmas card making, and cookie decoration.
Each child will visit Santa, receive a book, candy cane and stocking.
A lunch will be served, consisting of fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, homemade Christmas cookies and juice.
The lodge is at 515 N. Nevada St., two blocks west of the Carson Nugget.
Attendance, by reservation only, is limited to 40 guests. For reservations, call 775-882-2177 with the names and ages of the children attending.
