Two arrested on suspicion of grand larceny says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

THURSDAY

At 9:57 p.m., Beverly Tucker, 51, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, stop sign violation and basic speed after deputies initiated a traffic stop near New Ridge and Northridge drives. Bail was set at $3,595.

FRIDAY

At 4:14 p.m., a 49-year-old Fernley man was arrested on suspicion of brake light out, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, failure to maintain a lane and a Lyon County warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Gordon Street and Fairview Drive. Bail was set at $8,565.

At 5:51 p.m., a 26-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI, brake light out, license plate violation and violation of bail conditions after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Bath and Curry streets. Bail was set at $4,050.

At 11:45 p.m., Adam Guenther, 27, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, expired registration and suspended license after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Carson and Stewart streets. Bail was set at $4,025.

SATURDAY

At 12:10 a.m., a 38-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of lamps required, two counts of failure to appear and no valid driver’s license after deputies initiated a traffic stop at Carson and Stewart streets. Bail was set at $1,065.

SUNDAY

At 12:12 a.m., a 32-year-old Gardnerville man was arrested on suspicion of violation of bail conditions after deputies responded to reports of a fight at the Carson Street Jimmy G’s Cigar Bar. No bail was set.

At 3:58 a.m., a 22-year-old Reno man was arrested on suspicion of DUI causing an accident and suspended registration after deputies responded to reports of a crash near the 1400 block of La Loma Drive. Bail was set at $1,050.

At 1:46 p.m., a 27-year-old Mound House woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI, violation of bail conditions, child endangerment and failure to yield to a pedestrian after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1600 block of William Street. Bail was set at $6,575.

At 8:28 p.m., Kristofer Schutten, 21, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of two counts of felony grand larceny, violation of a condition of release and petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a couple taking items from the Carson Street Kohl’s. At the same incident, Ashleigh Baldwinson, 19, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of grand larceny. Bail for Schutten was set at $53,250 and bail for Baldwinson was set at $25,000.

MONDAY

At 12:45 a.m., a 27-year-old Gardnerville man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Stewart and John streets. Bail was set at $410.

At 12:55 a.m., a 32-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of suspended registration, contempt of court and violation of a suspended sentence after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Roop and Oregon Streets. Bail was set at $1,205.

At 2:31 a.m., Richard Mustonen, 70, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony attempted commercial burglary after deputies responded to reports of a man trying to break into the Carson Street Blue Bull Bar. Bail was set at $20,000.

At 3:46 a.m., Zane Holt, 41, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony intimidate a peace officer with threat of force and disorderly conduct after deputies responded to reports of a man yelling near the 2900 block of Airport Road. Bail was set at $10,150.

At 4:53 a.m., a 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear and speeding after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Carson Street and Winnie Lane. Bail was set at $260.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
