Vietnam veterans and anyone who like to help honor them are invited to attend this year’s “Welcome Home” Vietnam Veterans Remembrance Day Ceremony April 1.

The half-hour ceremony, sponsored by the Carson Area Chapter 388 of the Vietnam Veterans of America, will start at 5 p.m. at the Nevada Vietnam War Memorial in Mills Park.

The annual event honors those who served and came home, while also remembering those service men and women who served but never made it home.

The ceremony will be followed by a no host reception at the Gold Dust West Hotel and Casino, 2171 E. William St.
