July 18, 1919 ~ February 21, 2017
Thelma was born to Sirus and Laura Potter Lawrence in Saskatchewan, Canada July 18, 1919, and passed away February 21, 2017 in Sparks Nevada.
She lived in California, Texas, Kansas, Saudi Arabia and has lived in Nevada for about the last 30 years, most of which was in Carson City.
Thelma went to nursing school and spent her career working in hospitals and taking care of private patients. She was an excellent oil painter and china painter.
She is survived by her daughter Carol Mark; grandsons Steve and Doug Hatcher; granddaughters Nicole Crowe, Carilynn Flores and Kristine Ludel. Thelma was generous to a fault and kind to everyone she met. She really will be missed.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 1pm at Walton’s Chapel of the Valley, 1281 N. Roop St., Carson City, NV (775)882-4965.
Burial will follow at Walton’s Carson Gardens.
