After a week, the Nevada Legislature’s website is back in business.

The service was restored Saturday after AT&T crews repaired damage to the fiber optic cables that provide it. Those circuits were damaged last Monday by wildfires raging across western Nevada.

The website is heavily used by not only state workers but lobbyists and citizens in general. That outage left lawmakers and legislative staff unable to access their email accounts.

After the service was restored, a large number of emails to lawmakers and staff began to dump into their accounts – some receiving several hundred emails.
