Peggy was born September 15, 1941 in Fallon to George and Josephine Lamb. She passed away on July 9, 2017 with her family and close friends by her side.


Peggy graduated from CCHS in June 1959, she attended beauty college in Reno and then married her high school sweetheart Marshall “Wink” Coverston on June 17, 1961. She was part owner of the Beauty Nook until 1977, when she went to work for Southwest Gas Corp where she retired in 2001.


In her younger years, Peggy and Marshall Penjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, boating and spending time with their family, relatives and friends. We all still talk about our Lake Powell trip to this day!


Later Peggy and Wink enjoyed being members of the Over the Hill Gang, they had a lot of special memories of the great times they had.


She was preceded in death by her brother Thomas G Lamb; sister Dixie Kay Stanard; son David Coverston; and her father George Lamb; mother Josephine Miller; step father Herbert Miller.

She is survived by her husband Marshall “Wink” Coverston; daughter Debra (Paul) Ingerson; son Tim (Jamie) Coverston; grandchildren Tori Coverston, Randi Torres, Kari (JJ) Boyle, Mikala Torres, Mo (Taylor) Coverston, Colton Coverston; great granddaughter Laurynn Coverston; numerous nieces and nephews and sister in law, Dana Lamb.


Peggy will be deeply missed by all of us, including her special and dear friends.


Services will be held Friday, July 14th at Smith Family Funeral Home. Greeting will be at 9:00 am followed by service at 10:00 am. There will be a potluck luncheon at the funeral home following interment at the Fallon Cemetery.


The family suggests donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation, in honor of Peggy, in lieu of flowers if you wish.
