Some of Northern Nevada’s funniest dads will gather at the Brewer Arts Center on June 20 to celebrate dad humor and recount stories of fatherhood.
Night of 1000 Dad Jokes: A Stand-Up Comedy Showcase by Dads will be at 7 p.m. in the BAC’s Performance Hall, 511 W. King St.
Nick Josten is hosting the showcase. Josten, a regular opener at the Pioneer Underground in Reno, won the 1st Forte Award for Stand-Up Comedy. Joining him are Jym Bettencourt, Sam Corbin, Paul Bronken, Kevin Fletcher, Herman Cruz, Ethan Pickett, Matt “Tiny” Lowe, and Adam Terry.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door with open seating and a cash bar. Tickets also can be purchased in advance at breweryarts.org.
