Man arrested on DUI, failure to yield, says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

MONDAY

At 7:36 a.m., a 28-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies responded to reports of an accident near Arrowhead and Convair Drive. Bail was set at $215.

At 3:30 p.m., a 33-year-old transient woman was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies responded to reports of an accident near Minnesota and 5th Streets. Bail was set at $351.

At 4:42 p.m., a Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, open container, failure to yield to emergency vehicle and failure to maintain a lane after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Highway 50 and Lompa Lane. Bail was set at $1,240.

At 10:23 p.m., a 29-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court, no valid driver’s license and illegal turn at an intersection after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1100 block of Carson Street. Bail was set at $455.

TUESDAY

At 12:24 a.m., a 57-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of ex-felon failed to register after deputies served a protection order near the 2400 block of Scotch Pine Drive. Bail was set at $150.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
