Noctambule at Carson City’s BAC Saturday

The Brewery Arts Center’s Celtic music series continues this weekend with Noctambule.

Noctambule’s duo Marla Fibish and Bruce Victor play and sing traditional Irish songs and original instrumental pieces.

The pair play guitars, mandola, mandolin, bouzouki, cittern, tenor guitar.

Noctambule also sets poetry to music, including verses from Alfred Lord Tennyson, Pablo Neruda, Theodore Roethke and Edna St. Vincent Millay.

The name Noctambule is French for “night owl” and comes from a Robert Service poem.

The concert is Saturday at 7 p.m. in the BAC’s Maizie Harris Jesse Black Box Theater.

Tickets are $10 for BAC members, $12 for seniors and students, $15 for adults or $20 at the door.
