Man arrested on marijuana, alcohol possession of a minor, says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At 8:37 a.m., a 33-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of failure to appear after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 7700 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $1,285.

At 11:40 a.m., a 49-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a protection order after deputies responded to reports of a vehicle accident near the 1500 block of Sharon Drive. Bail was set at $5,688.

At 7:55 p.m., an 18-year-old Reno man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana underage, open container, possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, no proof of insurance, improper color lamps/reflectors and minor in possession of alcohol after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Colorado Street and Meadowbrook Lane. Bail was set at $4,975.

WEDNESDAY

At 1:11 a.m., a 27-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies conducted a business check at the N. Carson Street Dotty’s Casino. Bail was set at $165.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
