A pancake breakfast is planned on Memorial Day to honor local veterans while raising money to send them on an Honor Flight trip to Washington, D.C.
The event will be from 7 to 11 a.m. May 29 in the west parking lot of the Atlantis Hotel and Casino, 3800 S. Virginia St., Reno.
Tickets for $5 will benefit Honor Flight Nevada, a nonprofit that sends local veterans to the nation’s capital to see the monuments built in their honor.
