Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Women booked for child endangerment

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At 11:41 a.m., Aaron Friesen, 23, was booked on three felony warrants issued by Carson Justice Court stemming from an alleged domestic battery by strangulation. He was also charged with grand larceny of a firearm and grand larceny of a motor vehicle. Total bail was set at $55,000.

At 9:06 p.m., Stephanie Lynne Richmond, 53, of Genoa was booked on a felony count of child endangerment after a traffic stop on South Carson Street. She was also charged with DUI drugs. The arrest report states there was a 9-year-old child in between the two front seats not in a designated child seat or wearing a seatbelt. She was ordered held in lieu of $3,500 total bail.

At 9:45 p.m., a 41-year-old Carson woman was charged with domestic battery after deputies were called to an address in the Stewart Indian Colony. She was ordered held in lieu of $3,000 bail.

At 11:54 p.m., a Carson man was charged with DUI first after a traffic stop on College Parkway. The arresting officer said the driver violated several traffic ordinances before the stop. He was also accused of failing to use a turn signal, failing to stop at a stop sign and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. Total bail was set at $1,580.

WEDNESDAY

At 11:23 a.m., a 59-year-old transient was arrested on a contempt of court warrant after being stopped for jaywalking at Highway 50 and Lompa Lane. He was booked in lieu of $500 bail.

At 5:23 p.m., an 18-year-old Carson tradesman was arrested on a charge he violated probation conditions set by juvenile court. He was ordered held without bail.

At 5 p.m., a 35-year-old Carson woman was ordered held without bail after her arrest for contempt of court and violating probation conditions.

At 8:45 a.m., Michael Ian Hutchinson, 23, was jailed on a warrant charging him with robbery. He was held in lieu of $25,000 bail.

At 4:20 p.m., a 46-year-old Reno man was jailed in lieu of $5,000 on a warrant charging failure to appear issued by Carson District Court.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
