Rosebud’s Dance Band will perform this weekend at Brewery Arts Center’s (BAC) Maizie Harris Jesse Black Box Theater.

The band plays Big Band-era jazz and swing with some more modern songs mixed in.

Rosebud’s Dance Band was formed a few years ago from musicians in Carson Valley Pops Orchestra. They practice in Rich Sheldrew’s garage with Rosebud, the Sheldrews’ rescue burro looking on.

“The band is really looking forward to playing at the BAC again, it’s always a lot of fun and we are looking forward to playing some new tunes for everyone,” said musician Kelly Dodge.

The performance will be at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for BAC members and are available online at breweryarts.org or at the BAC Artisan Store, 449 W. King St.
