Multiple arrests on felony robbery charges during holiday weekend says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

FRIDAY

At 12:05 p.m., Paul Scriven, 37, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of two counts of felony fugitive warrant after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 3700 block of S. Carson Street. No bail was set.

At 1:54 p.m., Cora Williams, 20, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony grand larceny, minor in possession of alcohol and two warrants after deputies responded to reports of a woman taking items from the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $25,798.

At 4:20 p.m., a 19-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies initiated a consensual stop near Nye Lane and Otha Road. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 5:02 p.m., a 35-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of driving on a revoked license after deputies conducted a traffic stop near the 3300 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 6:21 p.m., a 59-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 2000 block of College Parkway. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 7:39 p.m., Melissa Barker, 18, and Emerie Hodges, 19, both of Dayton were arrested on suspicion of felony burglary after deputies responded to reports of several people taking items from the Highway 50 Pick and Pull. Bail was set at $25,000 for both.

At 8:45 p.m., Clifford Gazarek, 32, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and fictitious registration after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1400 block of College Parkway. At the same incident, Stephen Skipworth, 33, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail for Gazarek was set at $3,550 and bail for Skipworth was set at $3,500.

SATURDAY

At 1:03 a.m., a 20-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies conducted a consensual stop near the 3900 block of Highway 50.

At 4:01 a.m., a 20-year-old Elko man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Carson and Sonoma. Bail was set at $395.

At 4:40 p.m., a 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1700 block of Russell Way. Bail was set at $175.

At 10:12 p.m., a 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted subject near the 900 block of S. Carson Street. Bail was set at $150.

At 10:21 p.m., Sacha Lennon, 39, of Reno, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and felony parole and probation hold after deputies initiated a consensual stop near Spear and Valley. Bail was set at $2,500.

At 11:04 p.m., a 32-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of probation after deputies responded to reports of a welfare check near Otha and College. Bail was set at $3,000.

SUNDAY

At 6:11 p.m., a 25-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies responded to reports of a runaway near the 1600 block of Long Street. Bail was set at $1,000.

MONDAY

At 1:37 a.m., Jacob Watts, 20, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony parole and probation hold, possession of drug paraphernalia, no valid driver’s license, driving an unregistered vehicle, no insurance and Department of Alternative Sentencing hold after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Long Street and Saliman Road. At the same incident, Elenda Stellhorn, 46, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription. Bail for Watts was set at $7,250 and bail for Stellhorn was set at $6,000.

At 4:50 a.m., a 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence, DUI-second offense and failure to maintain a lane after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1000 block of William Street. Bail was set at $3,540.

At 9:19 a.m., William Furlong, 18, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary, resisting a peace officer and possession of burglary tools after deputies responded to reports of a man taking items from the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $22,800.

At 5:54 p.m., Jonathon Badbear, 36, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony robbery and battery after deputies responded to reports of a man trying to fight people at the Nye Lane One Stop Market. Bail was set at $41,000.

At 8:06 p.m., a 19-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of tampering with motor vehicle and domestic battery near the 1700 block of Russell Way.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
