Carson City man arrested on suspicion of domestic battery says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

FRIDAY

At 2:42 p.m., a 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-second offense near the 3900 block of Village Drive. Bail was set at $5,000.

At 11:43 p.m., a 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 3400 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $1,000.

SATURDAY

At 1:16 a.m., Diego Coralles, 45, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony providing false identification to avoid prosecution, felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance, driving with a suspended driver’s license, no proof of insurance, fictitious registration and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Nye Lane and Lavender Circle. At the same incident, Meagen Turkington, 25, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, destroying/concealing evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail for Coralles was set at $14,650 and bail for Turkington was set at $11,000.

At 3 a.m., Davina Brown, 32, of Winnemucca, was arrested on suspicion of felony fugitive from justice after deputies responded to reports of a dispute near the 1500 block of Lompa Lane. No bail was set.

At 8:08 a.m., a 23-year-old Gardnerville woman was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Lompa Lane and Highway 50. Bail was set at $215.

At 10:55 a.m., Jeffery Askew, 35, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony home invasion after deputies responded to reports of a man inside a residence near the 1500 block of Truckee Drive. Bail was set at $20,000.

At 11:01 a.m., a 36-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of two counts of domestic battery near the 2300 block of Eastwood Drive. Bail was set at $6,000.

At 2:11 p.m., a 22-year-old man and a 34-year-old man, both transients, were arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of two men taking items from the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $250 each.

At 8:42 p.m., a 32-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of battery after deputies responded to reports of a fight near College Parkway. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 11:30 p.m., a 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 4900 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $3,000.

SUNDAY

At 3:30 a.m.,a 38-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies conducted a business check at the Carson Street Nugget Casino. Bail was set at $215.

At 4:20 a.m., a 49-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of obstructing and two counts of bike equipment violation after deputies initiated a pedestrian stop near the 900 block of Roop Street. Bail was set at $350.

At 11:26 a.m., a 19-year-old Sparks man was arrested on suspicion of minor consuming alcohol and DUI after deputies responded to reports of a juvenile passed out in a vehicle near the 400 block of Allouette Way. Bail was set at $1,150.

At 12:52 p.m., a 23-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies responded to reports of a possible battery near the 2900 block of Bunch Way. Bail was set at $500.

At 10:25 p.m., an 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of battery after deputies responded to reports of a man hitting a woman near the 2700 block of Gardner Lane. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 11:06 p.m., Donna Taylor, 49, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct after deputies responded to reports of a dispute near Gordon Street and Fairview Drive. Bail was set at $2,650.

MONDAY

At 12:30 a.m., Shane Anderson, 31, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony assault on a protected person with a dangerous weapon, felony discharging a firearm inside and occupied dwelling, felony intimidation of a public officer with force and drawing a dangerous weapon in a threatening manner after deputies responded to reports of a suicidal subject near the 4000 block of Etta Place. Bail was set at $50,500.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
